Vertical Electric Radiators

View all Electric Radiators Types

Whilst one of the newest types of models available, vertical electric radiators have taken the market by storm. Making use of spaces that weren’t previously available, they are quickly becoming a feature in many homes across the UK.

Traditionally, radiators have always been horizontal. This is because they were quite often placed underneath windows to offset the cold that came in through them. However, with modern advances in windows and glass, such as triple glazed windows, electric radiators can now be placed wherever you wish. This has given designers a lot more freedom and allowed for a lot more innovation in the last few years. Areas of the home that couldn’t possibly have fit a radiator, could now potentially be used for tall electric radiators. Offering the same heat output as a horizontal model, a vertical electric designer radiator is avaialable in a range of sizes. Colour options include white and a modern grey/black.

We currently have one product range in this section. As we mentioned earlier, this section is relatively new, and we are sourcing products that we think will be suitable for your requirements. Whilst there are a few other models available elsewhere, none of them will compare to the Rointe Palaos.

Rointe Palaos

Available in both black and white, these are ideal in rooms where there is a shortage of space. They produce an excellent amount of heat. Using just one, you can heat up rooms between 8m² and 16m². If you have rooms larger than this, you can always use more than one to reach your desired target. They feature an easy-to-use control panel with a mechanical keyboard. Features include anti-frost, comfort mode, night mode, as well as a choice of manual or automatic modes. They can be programmed 24/7 and includes energy saving features such as open window detection.

Are radiators easy to install?

Feb 27

Yes, radiators are easy to install as they do not require any of the extensive pipe-work that central heating demands. Some of our products are supplied fitted with a standard UK three pin plug, which means you simply need to locate them next to an existing plug socket, plug them in and go. This option is ideal if you are only installing one or two radiators. However, the majority of our radiators come with a wire on, which will need connecting to a switched fused spur by a qualified elect...
