Thermal Insulation

The various types of floor insulation boards are variations of an insulated tile backing board that is lightweight and was developed specifically for utilisation with tile floor insulation. It is very lightweight, and it is simple to cut (with a saw with fine teeth, a jigsaw, or a utility knife, for example), as well as to work with. It does not warp, rot, or crack, and it has an excellent resistance to moisture. Additionally, it maintains its original dimensions. XPS Boards

Decoupling Matting & Membrane

Additionally, it is appropriate for use with all electric underfloor heating systems ranging from a cable thickness of 2 to 5 millimetres. The residual moisture is able to gradually escape through the air spaces under the membrane, which helps to prevent cracks in the substrate from forming.
