The Herschel iQ T2 Thermostat pack (including one T2 thermostat plus R2 Receiver) incorporates the very latest energy-saving technology and is specifically designed to regulate Herschel Infrared heaters. When used with wifi you can also regulate your heating remotely using the SmartLife App.
Easy to install it is perfect for installations where hard wiring to the MD2 Thermostat would be impractical (for example, if you wish to minimise chasing out walls/cable trunking).
The T2 pack comprises a battery operated, wireless T2 Thermostat which can be wall mounted or free standing (and also includes one R2 Receiver).
The R2 Receiver must be wired to the mains electricity supply and also to the Herschel heater(s). The T2 and R2 are paired wirelessly to each other and the R2 can also be paired to your wifi for SmartLife app control (if required).
The T2 will then control all R2s which are paired to it. The T2 pack will control up to 2kW (at 230V supply) of Herschel Infrared heaters on one electrical circuit. To control more heaters in the same zone, or if you wish to use one R2 Receiver per heater, simply purchase additional R2 receivers and pair them to the T2.
The T2 features 2 manual modes and 7 x 1 day programming and is an easy to operate thermostat. The T2 incorporates the latest EcoDesign energy-saving features including Herschel’s open window technology and an adaptive start function ensuring your room is always at the right temperature with the least energy use.

Please Note:
Herschel controls will only work with Herschel heaters. Attempted use with any other heater brand will invalidate the warranty.
A T2 must be used even if SmartLife app control is to be the primary means of controlling your heating (i.e. you cannot use just the App and R2).
