Patented TAC® Scale Prevention Cartridge
Template Assisted Crystallization® (TAC®) technology attracts and converts converts “hard” minerals into harmless, inactive microscopic crystals. Accumulation of these minerals on the crystal’s surface renders them unable to attach to any metal pipes and fixtures. TAC® technology does not add or remove any elements from your water, allowing essential minerals such as calcium, potassium, and magnesium to remain. HydroTAC® is proven to remove and prevent up to 99.6% or more of scale through multiple independent scientific studies. The TAC® filter lasts up to 3 years without needing to be replaced, so no monthly fees or maintenance like other systems.
