What is the room calculator and how do you use it?

To help you find the best heater for your room, we have created an easy-to-use Room Calculator.

Before you begin, you will need 2 measurements:

• The width (in metres) of the room
• Length (in metres) of the room; and

You will also need to know which thermal zone you live in, you can see this on the handy map provided. You'll also need to know if any of your rooms are facing the north and how well insulated your home is.

After clicking 'Calculate' you will be given a selection of both direct (radiators and panel heaters) and indirect (storage heaters) heating solutions for your room.
