Design
The slimline compact design offers a modern aesthetic suitable for around the house or in the work environment. The inbuilt backlit screen displays temperature readings and current settings, allowing easy access to the customisable functions.
The heater holds an IPX4 rating which registers its splash-proof quality, and it is Lot 20 compliant. The grille location on top of the heater and at the bottom helps improve warm air circulation for even heat distribution.
Efficiency
Open window detection helps reduce energy wastage by monitoring and learning the needs of the room. It will pause output when it detects significant sharp changes in temperature, stopping the programme and waiting until the ambient temperature stabilises before reactivating. This energy saving technology improves the efficiency of the heater and its economic performance throughout the day.
Automatic charge control enables it to intake energy at night when tariffs are cheaper, and it stores the energy to be used when needed. Superior to traditional models, the Creda will only intake the exact amount of energy it regularly uses, resultantly limiting energy wastage.
The Creda utilises an onboard fan which helps improve heat dispersion and warm the room effectively. The resulting effect is maximised due to the fan’s grille being placed at the bottom of the heater, convecting heat from the floor upwards. Overall the Creda is an excellent replacement for older models with the latest energy efficient technology and dynamic temperature awareness.
Functionality
Featuring 7-day timers, it is fully programmable, therefore able to cope with any workday schedule. The settings can be fully customised to activate at any part of the day, with the boost mode activating if extra heat is required. Boost mode provides instant powerful heat for those emergency moments; it uses the mains energy directly similar to a portable heater.
The electronic thermostat, accurate to a fifth of a degree, can be digital controlled through the digitised control panel. The fan assistance allows the heater to quickly react to temperature changes and heat up swiftly. However, the overheat detection sensors can employ a safety cut-out to protect the components from harm.
Bluetooth is enabled for software updates. The Creda’s two-year warranty ensures longevity and a constant high standard. Child lock functions are excellent for landlords and childcare settings. Out All Day mode and Holiday mode are ideal for periods where heating is not needed, ultimately saving energy and long-term costs.

Unit is more streamlined that the old one and it looks like the various options will help keep costs to a minimum while achieving warmth on Economy 7.

The heater works well. Personally I prefer the 'old fashioned type without the fan, because I worry that the running of the fan is going to cost more.

On-line ordering was easy, chose a delivery date and it arrived in the morning. Can't ask for more than that

Good Heater with latest technology. No problem with the heater. It was a Quick and fast delivery. Would have given 5 star if delivery was better. I ordered a new storage heater which weighs above 150 Kg. However they only offer Kerbside delivery. I live in a flat on the 1st floor with no access to lift. The item was delivered by one man. I understand that all the cells were individually packed. Each pack weighs about 10 kg and there were about 10-12 packs in total. The rest of the item was packed in a big/large box which was heavier than 20 kg. I received email confirmation about my delivery the day before and when I noted that it was going to be a kerbside delivery, I immediately contacted them. I was informed that all items are individually packed and each pack weighs no more than 10 kg. I thought it would be OK if the delivery man would drop it on the ground floor and I would take my own time to take them up one by one. But when I saw the big pack, and when the driver told me he would leave them outside on the pallete for me, I was reluctant to receive the order. I explained, the ground was fully covered with black ice and it was so slippery and how did they expect one person to take 150 kg on the first floor without any help. I am someone in my late 50's and live on my own. Where is health and safety policy here? Obviously people who work in delivery they should have received appropriate training in moving and handling of heavy goods and should have done risk assessment training. They should know this was not a one man delivery job. However I was lucky as the driver was very understanding and he tried to help me out. He went above and beyond, he delivered all the items inside my flat on the first floor. He really deserves 10 stars for the job he did otherwise, I would have return the item and order something else instead from somewhere else. Delivery service not great at all that definitely needs to be improved because it is not fair on the driver as well. But am so grateful to the driver and I so much appreciated the work he does. People sitting in the office, doing paperwork would not even realised what it takes, I am a satisfied customer only because of the driver. Thank you so much driver for all your help.

The instructions include screws to fix to walls but not included. The Heatershop site did not show that a peak electric connection was also required!
